Jakarta Good Guide was born from a simple belief: that the best way to experience a city is through the eyes of those who call it home. Founded in 2019 by a group of passionate local guides, we started with walking tours in Jakarta, sharing hidden gems and authentic stories that you won't find in any guidebook.
What began as weekend tours for curious travelers has grown into a movement. We've expanded to Yogyakarta, Bandung, and Malang, building a community of over 50 local guides who are dedicated to showing you the real Indonesia—not just the tourist version.
Our pay-as-you-wish model ensures that great experiences are accessible to everyone, regardless of budget. We believe in fair tourism that benefits both travelers and local communities.
